Jon was all knobby knees and toothy grins with missing teeth when he first met Damian. His overgrown haircut crowded slightly against his eyes as he looked down at the older boy, extending his hand forward and mustering the best imitation of the smile his dad would flash (the one he gave photographers and news anchors, not the soft one he saved for Louis and Jon). "Hi Damian! I'm Jon, it's nice to meet you!"
Damian looked like he he wanted to roll his eyes but decided against it. Instead, he shook Jon's hand and settled on a simple "Of course, Farm Boy. I'm looking forward to working with you."
