Summary
“Hyung?” Yoongi manages to choke out at the sight of his old friend, looking as striking as he had in the past, albeit a little more ruffed and tired, paired with cropped hair that Yoongi has never seen on him before. He averts his eyes to the other men standing beside him and finds himself dizzy in a mix of relief and disbelief.
“Yoongi-hyung?” Taehyung calls out, his eyes blown wide as he stares back with the same look. The younger’s eyes start to fill with tears as he continues, “You’re alive?”
Unfortunately, the other two men, Seokjin and Jimin don’t look as happy as Taehyung to see Yoongi. It sends a flare of pain deep into his heart as the people he tried his very best to find for the last two years give him a distrustful glare.
They aren’t the same anymore. Maybe they don’t need him after all.
