BOAH Cast is just there to fan the flames and maybe safe their world in the process, while Kim Rok Soo loves the chaos Cale creates.This is a fanfiction which has both crack (TCF side will focus on humor and simping over Cale; probably no definite endgame relationship as focus is still reaction) and seriousness (BOAH side will most of the time feel despair, envy and confusion at the other worlds actions).
(Also, while not entering mature territory, jokes that can be interpreted as lewd are present. It depends on how dirty your mind is, really. It doesn't happen often but better be warned.)

Cale, Han Yoojin and Kim Dokja have met each other through some weird intergalactic means early on in each of their stories (ch. 50 or so) and have since then met bi-monthly to discuss self-sacrificing methods and to gain feedback for their evil plots. On several of these occasions Kim Dokja has been unable to attend since he keeps fucking dying. Finally, when he becomes Oldest Dream, the remaining members of S.S.B (Self Sacrificial Bastards) decide to help his company beat some sense into him. Han Sooyoung does not know wtf is happening but is laughing all the same, Cale is tired of everyone’s BS, Joonghyuk is just barely restraining himself from going on a killing spree, and Yoojin is glad to be there. Also Yoohyun and Choi Han are there to make sure their own bastards are safe. Unfortunately, no one is safe from the chaos that is about to unfold.
I’m scrapping this because it’s cringe and I got sidetracked too much lmao. Maybe one day it’ll get a rework. One day…

It never changed either, not in his heart. Over time it just evolved with more flowery language to make it sound nicer.
Kim Rok Soo discovered very early on in life that he was unlovable. At least, he thought he was. So he stopped trying after a while. Being loved, being cared for, being happy. That came last in comparison to staying alive.
And Kim Rok Soo would do ALMOST anything to stay alive. He let himself be raised into the perfect successor that was desired of him, even as he was yearning for something else entirely.
Because being the perfect successor would allow him to survive the longest he possibly could. Good people were always the ones who got the bad end of the stick.
Kim Rok Soo had already decided. He didn't want to be the main character of a story, because he didn't have the desired strength to fight the world.
Kim Rok Soo wanted peace. Because he was certain that peace would not only keep him alive but it might just bring him happiness.

The war is over, the White Star (Radish) is dead for good, and the God of Despair has been resealed, but Cale’s ever so elusive Slacker Life is still out of reach with the looming threat of the Hunters.
The God of Death, knowing that he is at least partially responsible for the chaos that has been Cale’s life so far, decides to give him a gift (besides the ones he already originally planned to give him), the gift of truth. Not for Cale, but for those he cares for. He will take the burden of secrets from Cale’s shoulders, if only to lighten the heavy load he tries to carry on his own.
Or Cale’s loved ones, friends, and allies across multiple worlds are summoned to read his story (legend).
