“It looks at how pack members experience the bond based on what they are. Instincts and connections vary greatly from born werewolves, to bitten werewolves, banshees, hunters, and even humans.”
Stiles paused, “That… actually sounds very interesting. I kinda wanna read it now. But my head feels like a warzone, and I definitely don’t have the energy to hold a book that heavy in my hands right now.”
He twisted and hoisted his legs up onto the couch when he had an idea.
“Maybe you could read it to me, Sourwolf? And who knows? Maybe hearing you say more than two sentences in a row might be enough to actually shock the sickness out of me?”

Stiles and Derek have been circling each other since Stiles' sophomore year of HS. Stiles has gotten used to Derek being generous and helping Stiles with expenses, Roscoe Repairs, caramel macchiattos with 3 shots of espresso, extra extra caramel sauce and coconut milk whipped cream, buying dinner, and assorted other things that cost money but aren't beyond what Stiles would accept.But the investment he loves most? Investing money in Stiles and making sure his chosen mate is well cared for.
Derek just wants to take away that worry so he decides to put all of his cards on the table alongside his many assorted high value bank balances. He's going for broke and he knows that if he can convince Stiles to take the offer of living in an apartment with him outside of Berkley, that Derek would end up being the richest man ever. Flush with love and flush with green green cash.
