Summary
Maglor has wandered the coastline of Middle Earth for two Ages of Arda. When he encounters an ill-placed cliff, he suddenly decides to change course. His inland wanderings take him through eastern lands, all the way to Rhûn and the secret resistance group kindled by the Blue Wizards in the shadows of Sauron’s dominion.
Confronted with forces he thought long gone from those shores, Maglor must reckon with his own self-doubt, and fight to forge himself a new purpose away from the past that has long shackled him. But when the Shadow turns its attention Eastward, he finds that the past may not be done with him after all…

Summary
Several hundred years after the start of the Third Age, Morgoth uses a single thread in the Song of the world to slip back into Arda. This time, he does not challenge the Valar directly. He is far more cunning.
He blankets Valinor in a spell, trapping the peaceful - elves and Valar and Maiar alike – in blissful ignorance, their memories wiped of any life beyond their borders. The troublemakers of the House of Finwe are locked away where they cannot cause trouble. And the rest of Middle Earth is left to the dominion of Morgoth.
Unfortunately for Morgoth, the House of Finwe are very bad at remaining quiet. And this time around, they’re not fighting each other.
