Nanako watches a calloused hand freeze mid-page flip, the other tightening white around his favorite book's cover. Then, as if nothing happened, he completes the action, exhaling softly out of his nose.
"Hm...He was my best friend. But we fought and it's been like this ever since."
It's a solemn answer, one Nanako would have gladly accepted from her father and savior...if only she hadn't heard the sound of his name falling from Geto's lips years prior. She and Mimiko exchange knowing looks.
"Just your best friend?"
Nanako hears her dad choke.

After a rough night of arguing and fighting Midoriya and Bakugo find themselves in each other’s bodies with no real reason as to why. The pair decide it’s in their best interest to keep their problem a secret to not garner them even more trouble than they’ve already got themselves into the night prior. Bakugo struggles with his temper in Deku’s body, and Midoriya is just as bad as keeping his mouth shut in Kacchan’s. Aizawa doesn’t know it yet, but he needs a shot.
