Summary
The Most Unsurprising Wedding is an indulgent, fluffy nine-part series centered on the wedding of Ronan Lynch and Adam Parrish (including events leading up to the Big Day and a years-later epilogue) after the conclusion of The Dreamer Trilogy. Since it is largely canon-compliant, there are spoilers within for TRC, the Opal short story, and TDT.
Events covered include: telling the family of the engagement, Adam's side of the proposal, the jobs/work that Adam and Ronan now do, a visit to Lindenmere, Mass with the brothers Lynch, a reunion with the Gangsey, as well as the wedding and reception. The epilogue touches on Pynch's first day as parents.
Audience level recommendations change depending on the story and trigger warnings are included where necessary.
Point-of-view changes per story with stories 1, 4, and 6 being from Ronan's POV and stories 2 and 5 from Adam's POV. The remaining four stories feature both of their voices. Each story is a standalone but is best enjoyed as a cohesive series.

Summary
Opal bumps into Adam’s elbow hard, causing him to drop the plate in his hand. It smashes to pieces at their feet. Adam snaps.
“Damn it, Opal! Why can’t you just listen?” Anger roils through Adam in violent waves, pulsing and jagged. It makes his vision blur.
Tears spring into Opal’s eyes. She backs away from Adam, her lip trembling and hands drawn in close. “I’m sorry,” she whimpers, her voice watery.
I’m sorry, Dad, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, please stop, it hurts, I’m sorry.
Adam comes back to himself slowly, fury receding with the tide. His palms sting. It takes a moment longer for him to place the prick of fingernails. His hands are curled into fists at his sides. The realization hits Adam like a wrecking ball. Opal is scared. Of him.

Theo shakes his head. "They're not for you. They're for you to give to Eddie." He points at Eddie, standing frozen with two stacks of toilet paper in his arms. "Eddie likes flowers."
"He does?" Buck asks, looking at Eddie curiously.
Eddie looks away, cheeks colouring. The two pendants under his shirt burn against his skin.
Theo nods enthusiastically. "He likes flowers and he likes you, so you should give him flowers Buck."
"Yeah Buck," Chris singsongs. "You should give him ~flowers~."

Charles isn’t a stranger to having brilliant ideas, he has them quite often if you ask him, maybe slightly less often if you ask Crystal, but Edwin would probably agree with him.
However this one might just be his best one yet.
“I’ve given your confession some real thought, yeah? So… how about we give trying to date a go?” asks Charles.
After a few beats too long, Edwin is finally able to speak.
“Thank you, Charles, but that won’t be necessary,” answers Edwin tightly and doesn’t offer anything else.

OR: In order to figure out his feelings Charles asks Edwin to date him, but is promptly refused. When an unexpected turn of events during a case leaves Edwin injured, Charles’ struggles with his feelings have to be put on the back burner. Unless he can somehow multitask…

“Okay, so, if you could go back in time and send one text message that you wrote but never sent, what would that text message be?”
“What?” Dykstra’s eyebrows furrow together.
“Wait, no, I get it,” Hayes nods eagerly, “We all have that one text we think about constantly, the one that we typed out and stared at for way too long before deleting it and sending something completely different.”
“Or nothing at all,” Haas mumbles.
There’s one that comes to Shane’s mind immediately.
Only one, really.
He’s thought about that night before a lot, he’s thought about what might’ve happened if he had sent that text. He thinks that, maybe, they could’ve figured their shit out a little bit sooner if there had been that extra ounce of vulnerability between the both of them.
Shane thinks that if he could go back in time to send that text message, maybe he would.

"You’re late,” Chris says, pulling the door closed behind him.
“Sorry, bud,” Eddie mumbles.
He feels Christopher’s head snap toward him. God, that boy has always been too observant for his own good.
“What is it?” he says immediately and Eddie can recognise the panic in his son’s voice. The apple really doesn’t fall very far.
Eddie hesitates. He messes around with his seatbelt, pulling it away from him and letting it snap back against his chest.
