Summary

Follow the tale of the spirit of a man who had been regarded as the strongest, yet had never been known beyond what he wished to be known of him. See how he comes across a living stranger that knew more than he did, and bear witness as what was supposed to be an unobtrusive "haunting" led to something more than what either of them expected to happen.
What was the name of that stranger? Uzui Tengen.

Himejima Gyomei should have died after the final battle against Muzan. He also shouldn't have been kidnapped by literal aliens and taken into outer space. Then again, the gods always give their hardest battles to their toughest soldiers; and he wasn't considered the strongest hashira for nothing.

I feed my delusions and throw Gyomei into space to traumatize aliens by accident :)

What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. Now I live on an alien planet I call Erid, in the 40-Eridani system. Yes, I’m actually Ryland Grace. Ask me anything.
Also, can someone please tell me if Eva Stratt is alive? And ideally send me a video of you punching her in the face? Guess that’s a long shot, but it can’t hurt to ask.

OR; After finding himself in the past, Ryland Grace has to try his best to keep his head down and figure out what he wants to do with his second try at solving the Astrophage problem and returning to his family. He struggles with language barriers, culture shock, and worst of all: he never really recovered all of his memories from his first time on earth.

Dr. Ryland Grace is an odd man.
When Eva Stratt first approaches the man, he's not alone.
She was under the impression that he had no loved ones, but the way that he looks at the man casually lounging on his desk, his face obscured from his dark hair cascaded in front of it, with such fond adoration, Stratt realizes that rather her sources were incorrect or this is a new development.
