Summary
It occurred to me that Sable's thoughts are so fragmented, a drabble collection suits them perfectly. Limiting myself to exactly 100 words is also an interesting challenge, so I'm giving it a go! Tags will be updated as needed.
Also breaking a personal rule that I can't upload ANYTHING incomplete, for fear I'll get stuck... or just forget, and thus leave a work incomplete forever. So this may be ten chapters, or a few dozen, or just the one; we'll see!

Summary
Astarion isn’t used to receiving help just because he asked for it, but Avani seems determined to spend her life sorting out other people’s problems. After two hundred years of learning that kindness equals weakness and nothing comes without a price, he doesn’t know how to react when she won’t accept the only “payment” he can think of. But he has more to offer than just that—and with some nudging, he finally realizes that relationships don’t have to be purely transactional.

It wasn’t a stirge or a deathfang, Gale choking down a gasp at the humanoid figure madly lapping and guzzling the bowl of blood. It was a vampire.
When Gale becomes aware of a creature targeting the infestation of necrotic rats plaguing his store, his eager brain fixates on the question of what being would willingly consume such pests.
His answer of a feral vampire spawn would only leaves him with an overabundance of academic questions and emotional complications.

The barkeep slid the requested wine up beside Astarion, and the pale stranger’s knowing smile returned. He leaned forward, closer now. When he reached past Astarion to fetch the glass, Astarion caught the otherworldly scent of his skin: earthy and herbal, but blue and scorched like the astral zephyr, as though what he had said about the planes was true. As the elf straightened, he paused for a moment, lingering at Astarion’s ear. He uttered a simple word: “Pleasure.”
Ten years after the defeat of the Absolute, Astarion haunts the streets of the Sword Coast like a ghost, alone, searching desperately for a cure to his undeath. While following the trail of a shadowy rumor, he meets a dark and mysterious man who reminds him of himself. Adjusting to life as a mind flayer is difficult, especially when Moss feels emotions with their entire body, and the thoughts of strangers keep physically bumping into them. The mixed opinions of the public - and of their companions - certainly aren't helping, either. But the battle is won, and at least the Emperor is here to mentor them as they help him rebuild the city.
Maybe he'll even hold their hand.A post-game fix-it story about learning to be illithid, but also rebuilding, reconnecting, and rediscovery. Everyone deserves to be happy, the Emperor most of all. Grab a page of acrostics, a bowl of soup, and maybe a toothbrush for the nauseatingly teeth-rotting fluff of this absolute character worship novel I've written for our sorely misrepresented big squid.

Amidst all the joy and love that made him remember for an instant what it was to feel alive, nothing could stop the immediate follow-up reminder that Gale was so very, very human, and Astarion was not.
Seventy years after his goddess ordered him to sacrifice his own life, Gale Dekarios defies all odds and dies painlessly and at peace, surrounded by his chosen family.
