What if the last time Duan Zi'Ang and Xiao Shu He spent together was the first time they created life?
After the recent troubles of wars arising, kingdoms attacking both the Nan Hui and Jibei Kingdom to prevent alliance that would increase the strength between the two, these two kingdoms were forced to part ways to ensure safety.
Futile, it may seem.
Separated for an entire five and a half years after destruction, Shuhe and Zi’Ang searched relentlessly for one another, in every city and every village, until Zi’Ang received a message that may have brought an end to his worries after such a long, agonising time.
A citizen bowed before the Emperor of Jibei named Duan Zi’Ang, afraid of what may happen if the Emperor may think he was lying but he just had to speak.
"Emperor!" His words were frantic and his hands were clasped desperately in front of him as he continued, scared. "I-I believe I have caught sight of your husband," he chose his next words carefully. "H-He is with three others," the man took a deep breath, fearing for his life. "A y-young boy included."
Silence filled the grand room.
