Why couldn’t he just be enough?
Why did he ever think she’d accept this? God, he was so fucking stupid. Of course she wanted him fixed. Because something like him wasn’t okay. A kid without a power wasn’t wanted. He was a mistake that needed correcting.
Fuck quirks.
Why did everyone else get one but him? Did God hate him? Or was this some kind of joke? Why make him like this… he hates feeling so empty, lacking, wrong. Why when everyone else was born whole, why was he born in halves?
- Izuku Midoriya is the only quirkless person on the planet as of right now. RIP.

Summary
Inspired from the tv-show: Love is Blind and 'remastered' to fit a whole universe.
Peter sighs when he sees the letter, it’s that time of the year again… He looks at his sister who’s looking back at him with contemplative eyes, as she stays silent. She still hopes that her little brother will find happiness again, and the hope she has in her eyes is shattering Peter’s will to complain or find a way to not go to this masquerade. He looks at his two nieces, his nephew, and his daughter and sighs. They all received the same letter. It will be the first time for Cora and Malia since they just turned 18 in human years. They seem to be more excited than the rest of them, which is understandable since it’s new to them.
The pods, that’s what they were invited to. The concept is simple: all single adults have to participate. For two whole weeks, sometimes more depending on the number of invitations, people are locked inside a room and have to meet other participants: speed dating like. But no participants can see who they're meeting.

*Originally titled Karaoke Night*
Prompt: The gist of it is, one of them stumbling [upon] the other signing a song or play or speech and being really into it and the other being captivated by it.
~
"Don't be such a stick in the mud," the curly blonde female, Erica, sitting close to Boyd quipped. "You did great and this guy is giving you a compliment. Just say thank you! Geez."
Stiles noted that she signed while talking as well, but it was slower and she paused a few times.
A loud sigh had him snapping back to Derek who moved his right hand upward, touching the tips of his fingers against his chin and moving his hand outward, palm up.
"He says thank you," Laura told him with a smile.
"Oh, uh. How do you say you're welcome?"
Laura gave him a wide smile. "Like this." She put her arm out about six inches from her chest, palm facing her, then moved it down vertically, at an angle, toward her lower abdomen.
Stiles mimicked her, albeit awkwardly, but beamed when Derek's lips twitched and he gave another stiff nod.

Summary
Stiles reads through the report. The FBI knows a lot, but some of their information is inaccurate or outdated. Also, they don’t even know about kanimas or banshees. Once he’s done with the background information, he flips to the assignment brief.
It’s a murder investigation. The prime suspect is a werewolf only five years older than Stiles, and he’s accused of killing a forty-year-old woman. The location of the crime? Stiles’s hometown, Beacon Hills. The report documents difficulties with interrogating the suspect because the werewolf is Deaf. He’s refusing to put anything in writing, even to communicate with the defense counsel provided to him. It’s clear why Stiles was selected for this job.
“I’m not an interpreter,” he says as politely as possible.
