Summary
Girlboss by day, spoiled brat by night…
Kate Padua is brilliant, loaded, a real ball-breaker. She doesn’t take orders from anyone, least of all men, unless they’re telling her to do their washing up…
When her father dies in a freak sex party accident (or, as Kate calls it, four prostitutes and a funeral) and decrees she can only inherit if she marries a man, Kate need a fake husband, fast. One who needs her money, and doesn’t mind her extreme temper or her extreme BDSM dungeon. Enter Chio Rogers. The Dom who drives Kate wild inside the bedroom, and out. He’s angry; he’s nasty; he’s also, very, very broke.
So Kate and Chio strike up a deal. But as they spend more time together planning their fake wedding, business and pleasure start to blur, and something unexpected starts to grow…
Essentially this is a retelling of the Taming of the Shrew, read as a shared BDSM fantasy.

Summary
Five years after the end of their first five year mission, McCoy is grounded and engaged. (Finally!) Uhura is working for Section 31, although she'd rather a job that involves more peace treaties and fewer guns. Scotty is still repairing ships, while Sulu is still mourning the loss of Chekov.
And Spock? Last they heard, Spock was living a life of total isolation on New Vulcan.
Every year they gather in San Francisco to catch up, but this time, someone's missing.
Jim.
When no-one can get hold of him, they begin to worry. Turns out Jim was assigned a mission so secret and so dangerous, no-one will tell them where he went, or where to look for him.
But the crew of the Enterprise have already lost too much to risk losing more, so they set off to rescue their Captain. Along the way they reunite with old friends, battle devious god-like beings, and maybe even save the Federation from a terrifying new threat...
(This is basically how I imagine the mythical Star Trek 4 to look, so it's written as a film script, and also why I didn't think Chekov could be in it. This means this is basically an action movie on AO3. But don't worry shippers! They'll still be a few romantic moments.)

Summary
A few years ago, the RSC did a completely gender-swapped version of the Taming of the Shrew, where Elizabethan England was a matriarchy. The men are expected to be sweet, demure, and pleasing to women, who are in turn soldiers, leaders, and powerful heads of the family. This story focuses on Cato (Katherine), his relationship with Petruchia (Petruchio) and what might have happened after the end of the play.
Petruchia is gravely ill. She wants her husband. But her husband left her years ago, and rightly so, because she was entitled, arrogant and cruel. Maybe Cato won't arrive.
Cato, shrewish, independant, fierce, unlikeable, ran from the marriage that was supposed to tame him. Now he's running his own tavern, and has a life, and friends, and is finally at peace. And yet he still loves his wife, however cruel she may have been. And when he discovers that she is ill, and demanding to see him, he is faced with a choice. Has she really changed? And does he have it within himself to forgive her?

Summary
Captain Kirk keeps referring to his First Officer as “sweetheart”. He does it when they are in mortal peril, when he is bored, when he wants to be annoying. Neither expects the term of endearment to actually become dear to them.
