Summary
The three girls who had gotten lost at sea for a whole day the summer before year ten were about to enter year twelve. One of them had won gold in States in competitive swimming at the age of sixteen, and had little time for her childhood friends, too busy training for the Olympics for much else. One of them had taken up martial arts, and taught younger kids every day after school to make a little money to help her through uni; she wasn’t going to ask her dad for help. One didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life, so she just focused on her schoolwork, forming a small tutoring business with her best friend and his girlfriend. Everything was normal.

Summary
Things have been relatively quiet since the defeat of Michael all those years ago. The princesses have grown up--some in more ways than others--and a new generation of sea royals have come into existence.

Ugh, this again.
Jason curls up more tightly, wedging his nose beneath his tail so he can’t see whatever ‘adopters’ have come to peer piteously at him. He considers the logistics of making another escape attempt if the door is opened—until, that is, a boy’s voice abruptly arrests his attention.
“No,” Damian Wayne says, kneeling before Jason’s kennel. “I want this one.”
Jason encounters a villain who turns people into animals.
Damian, meanwhile, adopts a dog.

...but I feel so far from it
At this point, Jason just wanted to be left alone. After nine months back in Gotham and one failed assassination attempt on his former father-figure, Jason made the executive decision to steer clear of the Bats. Even the Replacement. He instead spent his days getting his Pit Madness (mostly) under control, in addition to gathering a small but mighty criminal empire thanks to a duffle bag full of severed heads. Crime Alley finally had the protector it deserved. And whether out of fear or sheer disinterest, the Bats seemed to keep their distance.
Until the Replacement decides one reluctant rescue from the infamous Red Hood is enough to form a pseudo-alliance between them...

His younger brother opens the door with a slow creak.
“What?” Damian barks in a tone Tim is certain is meant to be harsh, which is undercut by the way he rubs at his eyes and yawns widely, “What do you want?”
“You like birds, right?” Tim asks.
“I do,” Damian replies, suspicious.
“I’m going on a road trip right now to go find a very special bird,” Tim tells him, “I wanted to know if you want me to send you photos on the way.”
Damian’s scowl deepens.
“You are not old enough to drive,” he says.
“I’m not,” Tim agrees, “I’m going anyways.”
