Retelling of Descendants
Don’t do it- she’s baiting you. Don’t-but Ben’s not listening; instead, he’s watching her....He looks up at her. He’s never really looked at her like this before- he’s usually always looking down at her.
But he likes it. Likes seeing her purple hair have this reddish tint with the sun's light.
“Ben,” she whispered. Ben simply hummed, his hands moving up until they settled on her waist, drawing circles.
“Where is the wand?”
He froze for a second- right, she's baiting him. She’s trying to get information out of him.

Summary
In March, a little over four years after knowing Mal, High King Benjamin is forced by the royal council to send his Lady of the Court to the Isle of the Lost after she is accused of high treason and murder. By April, King Benjamin is still refusing to believe Mal is guilty; he finds evidence that his childhood friends framed her. By June, High King Benjamin is practically begging them to allow him to bring in the Auradon knights to find Mal, after failing to right this wrong by himself. In that same month, he declares Audrey Rose Greystone and Chad Charming Jr. fugitives and dangerous criminals. On September, his knights finally succeeded. They found Mal. However, she wasn't the same person she had been a few months ago. With Audrey and Chad on the run and Mal slowly healing, King Ben is hoping that it's not too late to fix his mistake and get his happily ever after.

Summary
