Summary
Attempting to boost the futures of Zaun and his children, Zaun's magistrate Vander volunteers his remote home as a location of exile for Piltover City's nobility. He assigns Vi as the mysterious prisoner's warden, unaware of just how much Lady Caitlyn will change his eldest daughter's life.
The two sat, and sat, until the afternoon sun darkened into evening. Zaun's cold winds, the reason it had been chosen for Caitlyn's exile, rattled the windows of Vi's home. Neither of them moved to turn on the light.

Summary
When Jayce drops the news that Caitlyn has returned to their hometown, it hit Vi straight in the gut. Ten years ago, Vi couldn't erase the memory of the day she finally build up the courage to ask her best friend out on a date, only to have her heart shattered by the revelation that Caitlyn had already given her heart to someone else. Over the years, Vi had moved on. Or, at least, she thought she had. But facing the reality of Caitlyn being back made her realize that some fires never completely burn out.
