“Well…yes,” Reed says. Again, like it’s obvious. “That’s what we do. We’re—” he stops and studies her. “You really don’t know who we are?”
Darcy glances around the lab, where half her monitors are filling with information being scanned and gathered from their docked ship, at the nervous interns who insist on wearing full hazmat suits clustered near the door. “I feel like it’s pretty obvious that no one here knows who you are,” she says after a moment.
“We’re the Fantastic Four.”
She stares at him for a moment. “Did you come up with that name yourselves?”

Summary
Wonder Woman received intelligence implying that the Head of the League of Shadows has acquired an heir. Normally, Batman would lead the investigation, but he is on an independent mission in Africa, so she decides to act now to prevent any disastrous events. In Gotham, Tim, Damian, Duke, Batwoman, and Oracle have been tasked to protect the city while the Dark Knight is out. A wrench is thrown in their relatively mellow week when they notice that the Justice League has broken the "No Metas in Gotham" golden rule, and are paying close attention to the youngest member. They're not the only unwelcome group in Gotham, as mysterious soldiers have been snooping around the city outside of Oracle's notice.
