What would Steve think of this, Sam wonders? He can't imagine he would approve. At least, not of how things were happening now, driven by equal parts heartache and lust. But Sam has to remind himself that it doesn’t fucking matter what Steve would think, because Steve had decided to go and fuck off back to the 40’s, then had the nerve to show up in the present and die two months later.
Besides, what better way to honour the dead than by fucking his best friend?

Sam swears he isn’t a sore loser. Sure, he’ll bitch and complain and accuse Bucky of cheating, but he won’t flake out on his end of the bargain. Which, in this case, is a week’s worth of household chores, because there’s certainly no other way Captain America would love to spend his down time in between missions. He looks down at his hands as he towels them dry, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the elephant in the room, which is the fact that Sam is currently wearing a fucking dress.
Right. A week’s work of household chores, paired with the punishment of wearing a fucking maid dress around the house for part of the week. Because he’s the idiot who had upped the stakes with a rematch, and because Bucky’s an asshole.
