The fact that John cheated on Mary didn’t sit right with me and it felt like it came out of nowhere so I tried to explain it to myself and then I ended up writing about it. The general idea is that John felt betrayed and was emotionally wrecked so he did something awful to feel better. This is a hot mess but I had thoughts and did not proof read.
