Summary
“Your mother left very specific instructions regarding her will. Her house, her money, everything in her name, really, is going to one person.” The lawyer continues flipping through the papers. “One I'm afraid isn't you.”
Aaron looks at the lawyer and then starts to laugh. He laughs so hard he's sure it's bouncing off the walls and ricocheting back into his chest just to be laughed out again. Suddenly he stops. “Who'd she leave everything to?”
“I'm afraid I cannot say.”
Aaron snatches the paper and reads it. “Who the hell is Andrew Minyard?”
(Or: When his mother dies and leaves everything to Andrew Minyard, Aaron is left with one problem: he has no idea who Andrew Minyard is.)

Summary
Neil Josten was never good at staying still. It had been ingrained in him from the moment his mother took him and ran.
The night his father's people had caught up to them again for the last time, his mother was too busy bleeding out and forcing him to repeat her rules of survival to warn him of the potential consequences of the horrific act he had undergone only hours prior. So he burned the feeling of rough hands and torn clothes alongside his mother and their most recent identity, and continued on as his mother had instructed him to. It wasn't until several months later he had realized the one downside of running from his past - sometimes it punishes your ignorance.
Now three years later in Millport with his little girl in one arm and an offer to join the Palmetto Foxes, Neil must decide if slowing down to give Sophie the life she deserves is worth the risk of being discovered by his father.

Andrew Minyard: [Looks around slowly] What do you think?
Jacob Marshall: Well what about your co-star Renee Walker?
Andrew Minyard: Who?
Jacob Marshall: Oh don't be like that Andrew! We all know that you and Renee are rather close [Sly smile]
Jacob Marshall: There's no need to be shy! We all know that there's something brewing between the two of you
Andrew Minyard: [Raises a single eyebrow]
Jacob Marshall: I’m sure the two of you have been using this event to get in some action
Andrew Minyard: Are you proud of yourself for saying that to a child?
Jacob Marshall: [Blinks in surprise and gives a nervous laugh] What?
Andrew Minyard: I thought so, fucking weirdo. Who talks about a child's sex life? A pedophile that’s who
Jacob Marshall: [Looks stunned] I-
Andrew Minyard: [Grabs the microphone, pushes Jacob Marshall out of the way, and stares directly into the camera] I’m gay dipshits
