Summary
Rylee’s quiet yet persistent help filled the empty gap left where her old master once looked after Devon in a way Maul either didn’t care about or never even considered in the first place. Sure, he encouraged her to tend to her wounds, and he was quite clear when he expected her to rest, but it was a tactic. Devon was no use to him beaten and bruised, after all.
Often, she wondered what would have become of her, were it not for Rylee.
Growing ever stronger at Maul's side, Devon must make her inevitable (and possibly final) decision: execute her sought-after revenge, or flee with Rylee and the last of the light in her heart.

Given this clone’s condition, there’s no way in hell he hasn’t gone through something absolutely mental. Perhaps they’re in similar boats.
