“This is what you wanted, isn’t it?” Eddie’s voice was a low rumble, right behind him now. “Prancing in here looking like a dirty fantasy laid out on my goddamn office sofa, and you expect me to think about profit margins?”
Buck finally turned his head, looking over his shoulder. Eddie’s face was a mask of strained control, his eyes dark with a hunger that made Buck’s stomach flip. “Is it working?” Buck asked, his voice breathy.
Eddie’s answer was to let his hand slide higher, up the sensitive skin of Buck’s thigh, until his fingertips grazed the edge of the satin panties.

“Sit” he gestures to the stool at the counter.
Buck goes easy. Always so obedient.
“Good boy.” It comes out rough. Buck’s eyes flutter shut. “Should I be calling you a good boy actually? What with you going around picking fights?” He keeps his tone gentle, teasing. He expects a joke back, something to break the tension, but Buck’s tone is painfully earnest, his eyes pleading.
“I’m good. I’ll be good.”
Or

Eddie laughs, shaking his head in amusement.
“I haven’t told him, no,” Eddie admits. “He seems happy at the moment.”
“You don’t sound too heartbroken that he’s with me,” Tommy points out.
“Because It won’t last,” Eddie says with a shrug. “Your relationship has an expiration date.”
