There is only one solution, after all, right?” For some heavy seconds he is in silence. They seem to hear his breathing, but as well it can be static. “Probably it had to happen sooner or later. Let Obi-Wan take care of my droid. And — Snips... Ask master Kenobi if he wants to take a new padawan.”
Maul, wanting to hurt the hated Jedi Kenobi, captures his former apprentice. But the result of this plan turns out to something that none of them imagined — not Obi-Wan, not Anakin, not Maul himself.
Lots of meditation, lots of flashbacks, lots of the Force, and one continuous hymn to master and apprentice relationship in different variations.
