Summary:

It was supposed to be a game - a fun challenge for Jiang Cheng's birthday, solving riddles and clues to 'save' Wei Wuxian from a gang of kidnappers. But things go dangerously wrong, and instead of a group of actors, Wei Wuxian is abducted by merciless men working for the most dangerous crime lord in the country. If his family cannot find a way to save him for real, the night may well end in murder...

Chapter 1: Prologue

It is.... GAME NIGHT!!! This fic is so fun and exciting and I'm really looking forward to reading it :D I think it's a really good fit for a cold read - I barely remember 1/...5th? of this fic, just a few plot point and how much fun I had reading it :)

Chapter One: Prologue - in which Jiang Yanli just wants to draw a bit, but has BROTHERS; said brothers fight about dinosaurs, not getting hit in the face and The Dogs Incident/JFM's A+ parenting; and Jiang Cheng promises to protect WWX from any dogs, which makes me go "aww" every time I read it in a fic.
