Castiel accidentally falls into another universe.
In a world where people are more physically affectionate naturally. Where you greet strangers with hugs when you first meet them rather then handshakes. Where you kiss loved ones when you see them after a while. Even touch starved hunter children like Sam and Dean would grow up in such a world.
You can only imagine how co-dependent brothers in this universe would act when their best friend Castiel comes back from the dead.

Castiel knows Sam and Dean care about him. They've said it enough times, their actions have confirmed it, and their constant trust and forgiveness of his actions were the biggest sign.
Still... he never knew how much they cared until he stumbled across what he would come to call the Love Universe.
