Mito Jujo always wanted to know true friendship.
Born and bred as an heiress of a noble family, she had always had to be perfect. Be stronger than anyone. Be worthy of her name.
So when young lady Jujo got friends, companions, she could even call them family - she couldn't have been happier.
Well, until she realized what kind of idiots she was messing with.
The Colonel let out an exasperated sigh and looked around the squad room. Sayuri was embarrassed as she ran her fingers through her hair, while Shigure...well, Yukimi-San was always tight-lipped about her emotions.
Goshi, however, was sitting in front of three girls with an uncharacteristically serious expression.
The most comical thing was that there was a little girl with the same serious business face standing next to him.
Mito felt like she was in a sitcom.
"Well?"-she was beginning to lose patience.-"Why-"
"You must be wondering why I've gathered you here."-Norito interrupts her. Mito musters all his strength to keep his cool and not hit this show-off in the face.
"Yes. Please explain, " -she hisses back.
"It's about Shinya and Guren."
Sayuri looks at him anxiously-"Did something happen to Shinya and Guren-sama?"
"No, no, nothing like that,"- the blond man hastily corrects himself.-"The thing is, they're idiots."
There is an awkward silence. Shigure is the one who breaks it.-"So you decided to tell us what we already know?"
Goshi giggles, shaking his head."No, you don't understand. They're hopeless idiots." Realizing that he didn't make it any clearer and that Mito is already like a teapot boiling, he adds, "Haven't you noticed? Spark".
"A spark?"
"Yes. I would even call it fireworks. Something is clearly sparking between them" - Norito smirks.-"Probably since high school... but they have always been a very harmonious duo."
"It's true," Shigure says.-"We all know they're best friends."
"Best friends? »-Goshi raises an eyebrow-."Don't tell me you didn't see HOW they're looking at each other. A little more, and their pupils will take the shape of a heart. And the constant touching? Understanding each other even without words?"
Sayuri first turns pale, then blushes, Mito looks completely shocked, and even Shigure becomes uncomfortable.
"Besides,"- the blond man continues relentlessly."With many female fans, Shinya-sama and Guren are still single. And no straight man would miss such a chance!"
"That's exactly what makes them more popular than you," Mito says. Sayuri giggles.
"But Guren-sama was in love with Mahiru Hiiragi," Yukimi retorts.
«Details. Besides, when I choose between the two of them, I prefer the one who didn't try to kill us all."
Mito sighs.-"Okay. But why exactly do we need this knowledge?"
"Well, we're friends. And good friends should always help their team, even if it's idiots who need help." - says Goshi wisely.-"And now I will give the floor to my partner, Hiiragi Shinoa-chan."
The girl nods and clears her throat as she steps forward to the audience."Thank you, Goshi Ikemen-san. Ladies and ... well, mostly ladies. Our plan is to help my beloved brother and his best friend realize their boundless love."
Never in their lives had three girls felt so stupid.
"Goshi...and with here Shinoa?'-Sayuri asks quietly.
"For the record, Shinoa - chan is the main brain center of this operation and my highly respected partner." -Goshi answers seriously, and the little Shinoa proudly raises her nose.
"She's only 9." - Mito hopes to bring some common sense here.
She realizes the entire error of her plan when Goshi theatrically gasped.-"Mito-chan! I never thought you could be so intolerant. You can't call someone stupid because they're not as old as you are!"
"Not to mention I'm 9 and a half!"- just as dramatically declares Shinoa."Goshi-san, I feel so insulted!"
The blond man strokes her head."She's just jealous of your youth and freshness, Shinoa-chan."
Jujo's eye twitches. A little more, and the room would have turned into a crime scene, but suddenly something completely out of the ordinary happens.
"I agree."- says Shigure, and all eyes are aimed in her direction.-"As Guren-sama's subordinate, I have to make sure that he is happy. And, to be honest...Shinya is best suited for this role."
Shinoa and Goshi happily give each other five, Mito sighs, and Sayuri confusedly nods."If so...then I agree with Yuki-chan. If Guren-sama is happy, I will put all my efforts into it."
Now everyone is looking at the redhead. She just raises an eyebrow in question- " Seriously? They are adults, so why should we interfere in their personal relationships..."
"Mito."-Goshi interrupts her."Do you really think they'll realize? Our Guren and Shinya?"
The Colonel sighs.-"Fine. You're right. Although this is absolute foolishness ..."
"A foolishness that will help us strengthen our hearts against demons."-Sayuri smiles, and Jujo smiles back, accepting defeat.
"Great!"- is heard a clear girlish voice of Shinoa.- "From today, we start operation:" Idiots in love!"
Yeah, it sure will be fun.
