Summary
Leorio smirked and positioned his own hand on Kurapika's back.
"I suppose you don't know how to dance?"Kurapika snorted.
"Why, because you do?"Without answering, the doctor began guiding Kurapika through a very slow, very messy waltz around his cramped office.
Kurapika had never danced before but, if it felt like this every time, he promised himself to do it more often if by whatever miracle he were to survive this expedition.

Summary
“Leorio is a lucky guy,” Mneme said.
Those five words stopped Kurapika in his tracks. He spun back around and glared daggers. What the hell was that supposed to mean?
“What are you implying?” he hissed.
“I can tell you must love him a lot. To go to all these lengths to make sure he’s safe.” Mneme smiled.
He saw red. Whatever Kurapika felt for Leorio was an extremely intimate, private matter and this random man had no business speaking about it.
--
In which, Kurapika does whatever it takes to protect Leorio. He and the good doctor-in-training become closer over e-mail, phone calls, and buddy reading. Oh, and Kurapika saves a stray cat.

Summary
A small chuckle, but sincere and unbearably kind. “Never tried hugging it out?”
Kurapika sighs indignantly, too tired to properly protest. “Of course not.”
“Do you want to? Sounds like you might need it.”
Kurapika sinks into the mattress, and hopes it might claim him. Feeling embarrassed and warm, and not at all opposed to the tempting offer, he responds after another moment of silence, “Perhaps I do.”
Or, when actions speak louder than words.
