“Right,” Dean says. He nods to himself and tries to believe that Cas means it when he says he’s going to stay. “Right, and Jack, he brought you back?”
Cas smiles softly. “Yes, it took him time to figure out how to use his powers in a way that he could reach me, but he succeeded. We had our own reunion and discussion before he brought me here.” He looks back at Dean. “You have, apparently, been quite the talk of Heaven.”
Dean frowns and finally pulls away. He would be worried, maybe is a little bit, because when do they ever really catch a fucking break, but Cas is looking at him with something so fragile in his eyes. Something light and hopeful and sad all at the same time.
“What’d I do now?”
Cas looks at him like his heart is breaking. “You prayed my name to every angel in Heaven for six days straight.”

Dean’s extended period of self-discovery and inner reflection, of addressing all those fleeting little notions of his that maybe weren’t so little or fleeting after all, had culminated in one inescapable, terrifying fact.
He’s in love with Cas. Hopelessly, completely, embarrassingly in love with him.
They’ve just never had what they needed to explore this before, never had time, solitude, a real moment to breathe.
But they have it now, Dean thinks. He’s made damn sure of that.

“I’m not--I’m not messing around! I literally cannot let go of your hand!” Izuku’s getting frantic now, grabbing onto Katsuki’s lower arm with his other hand and pulling as hard as he can.
No luck.
“‘Zuku, I think I know what that girl’s quirk was,” Katsuki mutters.
He looks at where they’re connected, and sure enough, in between their palms, Katsuki can make out a faint pink glow.
A quirk accident that glues Bakugou Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku's hands together is actually a perfectly good opportunity to tell their classmates they're dating, apparently.
