    Summary

“I reckon if he corners me and asks me who I fancy one more time I’ll bloody punch him,” Remus says, squinting under the sun.

“Or you’ll boil over and snog his daylights out,” Lily quips.

    ---
As part of Slughorn’s riveting summer extracurricular, Remus follows his idiot friends to the Potters' cottage in Devonshire, where they’ll dig up opalescent clamshells and comb mermaid's hair from rock pools to brew a love potion supposed to make the drinker irresistible.

It’s hot, James won’t stop whinging about Lily, Sirius keeps finding squid ink and asking Mary to tattoo him, and recently moon-torn Remus is severely discouraged. Appointed to drink and test their horrific concoction, he manages to give the entire house a crush on him - except, bizarrely, for Sirius, on who the potion seems to have no discernible effect.

    Summary

“Regulus,” Sirius finally said, once he trusted he had his own voice under control, “has never once let me help him, even before I was a filthy blood-traitor. Why the fuck do you think I’d be able to save him now?”

Tomorrow night. Kreacher’s words throbbed inside his head. Regulus will die tomorrow night.

Sirius definitely wasn’t going to be getting any sleep at all this week.

Sirius thought he had cut all ties with his family, but when Kreacher shows up in his bedroom with a dire warning, he's hardly able to let his idiot little brother die. And when he learns about the Horcrux his brother was chasing, he's hardly about to let him take on Voldemort alone.

But getting tangled up in the House of Black again is not the best way to prove his innocence among an already-suspicious Order. Sirius has to walk a fine line if he wants to keep everyone he loves alive.

Clarke studied the twigs Lexa handed her for a second, holding them up to the light. Then she looked back up at Lexa. Earnest turned to mischief in her eyes.
    “Thanks, Lexa. You’re a star.”
Then she disapparated with a loud bang, and Lexa was left staring into open air without a single twig.

    Or

The HP AU where Clarke and Lexa are apprentices of competing wand makers, and are sent around the world to fetch materials for wand cores and somehow always manage to run into one another.

Nonagesimus, you owed me so big. You spat on my gift of a perfectly good soul, you trapped me in the back of your head like a bad dream to be forgotten and brought me back to fight disgusting bloody wasps, and then you got me stuck in a nightmare whirl of the worst fucking night of my life.

Which, you know. That’s really saying something.

(Or: Gideon is stuck in a time loop. She's not the only one.)

    Summary

"It'll be fine," Gideon assured her. "You’ve gotten yourself out of worse, with less. At this point I’m pretty sure you’ll live through anything just out of spite."

Harrow scoffed. "I’m hardly worried about that, Nav." And then, in true Harrowhark Nonagesimus fashion, she said something terrible. "If anything should happen to me, and you’re still able to—"

"Eat it," Gideon interrupted. "And stop making plans about what I’ll do if you die. I’m not going anywhere without you."

    "But you—"

"Like hell." Gideon had gotten so, so fucking tired of these infinite, deadly hypotheticals. "If you go, I will face God and backwards swan dive into the River. I will drag you out kicking and screaming. You’re stuck with me now, bitch."
