When Hadrian Peverell arrived at Hogwarts Tom Riddle had immediately known that he was a threat. He was a threat to all of Tom’s hard-won power. A power that Riddle would rather die than lose. There was only one way to solve this problem. He would have Hadrian Peverell as a knight or Hadrian Peverell would be rid from this world.
Tom cleared his throat, barely audible but enough to give Orion a start. With an apologetic look that begged for forgiveness for a clear lack of respect, Orion waved to Tom. “Hadrian,” Peverell, turned brows raised. “This is our 5th Year Prefect, Tom Riddle. Tom, this is Cousin Hadrian.”
Lips slowly curling into a well-practiced, charming smirk Tom tilted his head up. “Hadrian,” he purred, tapping his finger on the table. “Welcome to Slytherin House.”
