Summary
When Hoseok presents as an omega, his life effectively ends. Coveted as nothing more than a political pawn in his sire’s attempts to expand his territories, he’s married off to alpha Kim Namjoon. But he quickly realizes there’s been a critical detail omitted from him- his new husband is part of a mated pack- something considered scandalous under his father’s rule.
Overwhelmed, Hoseok tries to adjust to a new life amongst a pack who clearly weren’t expecting another omega, but it’s no small thing to come to terms with the lingering resentment of being seen as nothing more than an unwanted guest. Especially when, after expecting to share his first heat in his new husband’s bed, Namjoon enters rut and calls for his first omega instead.

Summary

Would think how lucky he was, that his feet had led him right here. He would wonder about all of the ways he could have deviated from it without knowing. The wrong turns he could have taken. The diversions. The idea of being anywhere other than where he was in his life right now, with the man he loved by his side, just didn’t sit well within Hoseok.
Where would he be, if he’d taken a turn down a different path? Who would he be?
He was this Hoseok, though, and on this road, wherever it would end up taking him. And he was happy with that.
