It took Dawn far too long a moment to realize she was being gestured at.
“Oh,” she finally said. “Sorry, hi. Uh, I’m Dawn, I’m from Sunnydale, California, and… what was the rest of it?”
“Your potential major and a fun fact.”
“Anthropology, I think,” she said. “And… god, I’m so bad at fun facts.” She resisted the urge to squeeze her pen, suddenly remembering how she had broken the other one. “I ride a motorcycle?”
