Summary
Set in Season 4, episode 3, Flint & co. save Silver from British soldiers. Flint wipes blood from the dagger off on his pants and Silver is filled with insatiable lust. Then canon can fuck off and they bang on the beach. Really, that's all there is to it. Silver is a chronic overthinker who really can't shut off his brain, but luckily for our boys, horniness intervenes and they finally enjoy a moment to have nice things. It's crack, it's fluff, it's shameless filth; something for everyone!
The ludicrous title is a reference to the 1960’s movie, “Beach Blanket Bingo” but this fic has even less plot and much more smut.

Summary
Trapped in the Maroon camp after the Doldrums, Flint believes there is only one way to save his crew from the death waiting at sunrise. Then Silver sits down beside him in the dark.
This changes things. Cataclysmically.Silver had spoken as though Flint were simply a man who had finished resting, as if nothing catastrophic had followed him out of the dark.
It made the man difficult to resent cleanly. Difficult to command cleanly.
Difficult to lose.Or: Flint eats cake in a cage.

As if reading his mind, Flint says, “You’ve lost control over your own life, and at the same time gained control over others. That’s a difficult new reality with which to grapple. You’re struggling with it, and trying to hide that you’re struggling. You’re lashing out. I understand. But it can’t continue.”
“What do you intend to do about it?” John bites out.
“Unless you stop me,” says Flint levelly, “I intend to spank you.”In which both Silver and Flint are having trouble processing their new realities after Charlestown, but they manage to find a way to help each other set aside their burdens and relieve their frustrations.

“If falling was inevitable, he would rather jump. Deciding to submit was still a decision, and Silver would never let anyone take that choice from him. He knew how vulnerability could be wielded as a strength, how a prisoner could strangle their captor with manacles. Besides, the aftermath of Mrs Barlow’s death had proved that if Flint truly respected someone, he would blame himself for their demise. If Silver had successfully become his partner in the same way that she had, his descent would be Flint’s downfall.”
In which Silver is smart enough to seduce Flint in order to manipulate him, but stupid enough to believe that is truly what he's doing.
