Wyatt actually did like being alone. He had never minded his own company. He was lucky in college to be in mostly single dorms, and had lived alone for years until he and Lisa had moved in together. He felt a bit lonely, which was obviously natural, but he didn’t feel totally unmoored.
It wasn’t really the loneliness that was eating at him anyway. It was actually a bit embarrassing how badly the horniness was getting at him. His right hand was a lazy lover.

See, these demigods passing through, almost always had fare, and not simply a charge to their card he wouldn’t see for weeks, but real, gold, drachmas. There was always some sort of warning when these things were coming, these big battles. There would be many who would pass through, their deaths being the indicator of oncoming war.On the other hand, he did not at all want to deal with complete crowding of his space, and he wasn’t exactly fond of the journey now either. He had made it more times than he could possibly count in his eternity, and he was quite bored of it. So here he was, bringing small groups across the Styx, preparing for the deaths to come.
And as the slow hours passed on, Charon watched the 16 demigods of Camp-Half Blood pass through his land, awaiting their passage to the underworld.
