Summary
White slivers of Rashomon sway and twist, manifesting from Akutagawa’s unbuttoned blouse. Before they can stab him, Atsushi strangles out the words, “Why do you have tits?!”
The razor sharp points of Rashomon halt, halfway outstretched the distance between the two of them. Akutagawa’s hands, fisting cotton or silk or whatever it is that blouse is made of, tremble. “What kind of a question is that? Women tend to have breasts, weretiger,” Akutagawa (she!) grouses.
OR
Atsushi had no clue his rival and partner, the guy he kind of, sorta has a crush on, is actually a woman.

Summary
Akiko Yosano was eleven when Shunzen hung himself.
Sometimes, Yosano still feels eleven. Even fourteen years later.

This is too familiar, he should say something. Apologize for keeping him up late or at least say something but no words made their way out of his throat.
But Atsushi understands, he always does.
“Mission didn’t go well, I assume?” Atsushi says and Akutagawa can feel some sort of small towel, maybe a handkerchief wiping away the blood on his face and he doesn’t even hiss when the stinging when Atsushi cleans the few wounds up. “Always one to rush in first, be more careful in the future. I’m worried you know.”
