Summary
"I'm not yours," Ogata's words come quick, too quick. He pulls on Sugimoto's hair violently, forcing his head backwards into his neck so he has to look up at Ogata. "And I will never be. Get that into that thick skull of yours already before you regret it."
Ogata wants to keep his distance.
Sugimoto pulls him closer.

Bookmarker's Notes
He cries now. But he also laughs. Laughs at how he has managed to not cry and not show affection for so long. And then Sugimoto shows up, a dumb brute just rutting against Ogata and telling him about his childish feelings. And he manages to do both, to make Ogata both cry and feel. And Ogata realizes, he needs to kill him.

Summary
Sugimoto is so violent, Ogata thinks, so vicious with his enemies. Ogata had felt it himself on the edge of that river, feels it every day in his jaw clicking and whining at being used too roughly. Yet he’s so unfailingly kind to Asirpa, even when at least some level of his brutality is in the service of her will and her safety. It’s all blended into one man, one person Ogata can look at and look at and never understand, never surmount.

He blames Katsura’s stupid hair.
So silky smooth and straight, whatever elusive thought rattles inside that head must simply slide down those inky black tresses and fall to the ground, discarded like the garbage it is.

Gintoki doesn’t say this. Instead, he says, “Your arms are too scrawny to lighten such a heavy load for anyone.”
“Perhaps, but while they’re carrying their bonds day in and day out, I can help with the gardening,” Zura says.

Summary
“As they say, only idiots catch cold.”
“That’s ‘idiots never catch cold.’ But I guess that means you’re safe, Zura.”
Zura folds his arms and turns to face Gintoki with great dignity. “I’ll have you know, I’m more than capable of catching anything I’d like.”
“Yeah, I don’t doubt you.”
Zura, despite being an idiot, catches a cold. Though Gintoki has nursed him back to health many times before, this time, it's somehow different.

" ...And don’t talk to me about the pain of using my left hand, I could tell you all about the pain of using my left hand!"
In which Katsura overhears Gintoki's complaint, has an idea, and somehow, feelings are revealed along the way.
Set immediately after the Battle at Rakuyou. Light smut, much fluff.

Summary
He has no choice but to leave himself to his hand’s learned routine for taking off the edge, for when the beauty of space inevitably leaves him dazzled and hollow in equal measure. But this time he isn’t fantasizing—he’s just home. Sakamoto always, always comes back to these assholes, his comrades-in-asininity, using gravity as an excuse for drawing close, crashing down, and falling in love. Over and over again.

When he looks ahead again, he finds his trusty gun pointed right at him, Takasugi’s expression dead-serious; Sakamoto seriously, seriously resolves that it wouldn’t be such a bad way to go.

The women's bodies are full of bomb material. I can't sleep thinking about all the ways a woman can be used to blow up a building, to destroy a man's home with the children still inside, to shatter the supports of a bridge so that the whole structure shears apart and goes crumbling into the river far below.

Summary
Takasugi presses his lips against the side of Katsura's neck.
"You can't hide it from me," he murmurs, hand still pressing against the side of Katsura's abdomen, voice low and dangerous. "How you feel for him."
"Can't I?" Katsura says, quietly, moving in so close he's almost kissing Takasugi's ear. "Isn't it because you feel the same way? For Gintoki."
