Summary
The catholic priest Ben had called upon to exorcise the Assyrian demons finally shows up, albeit with his heart set on exorcising the wrong demon. When the Freelings fight to save their favorite hell prince, Abaddon is put in a position where mortality might be his only way to stick around in a life he’s now grown quite comfortable with.
Mortality comes with its own trials, tribulations, and experiences though—most notably, sharing not only body but mind with the vessel.
Though the shift is jarring and initially unwelcome, the change in perspective helps Abaddon see the Freeling’s through a different, more earthly lens.

Summary
Nathan couldn’t remember the last time he went to a family reunion, let alone had someone to bring and show off! Besides, with Kathrine and the kids coming, and Nathan’s favorite cousin David showing for the first time since David was a teenager himself, it’s going to be fun, right? Right?
David's not been home to see family since before he went to live with Mr. Campbell. He didn't really want to go home and see his terrible parents, but now he's got a girlfriend to bring home, and more importantly, a son to show off! And he's going to get to see his favorite cousin, Nathan! It's going to be a totally safe, non-dangerous, calm family reunion. Right?

"You must hide me!" Abaddon wheezed while catching his breath, "He's coming! He's going to destroy my essence!"
"Who is coming?" Katherine asked as she crouched down to his level. She gently took his little hands into her own. Katherine rubbed her thumbs on the back of his hands, the same way she used to comfort her own children when they'd run to her in panic.
"Step away from the damned," A deep voice growled from the doorway. Katherine turned her head to find a new ghost had entered the building. He had clearly died a long time ago given his appearance, but this was the first time she had seen him.
Katherine gently rubbed Abaddon's back while holding him close, "You are?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Father Joseph," He replied, "I am the father of the child that monster has possessed. Unhand him now. He is a danger to you and everyone you care for,"

When the father of the child Abaddon possessed shows up at the Undervale to exorcise Abaddon, the Freelings discover the child was inside Abaddon's head the entire time. They decide to try separating their souls into separate bodies. What could possibly go wrong?
