Summary

Jeongguk stares at himself in the mirror, eyes blank, expressionless.
That’s not me, that’s not me, that’s not me.
Imposter. Who are you?
He reaches his hand up, devoid of color, to press against the cold glass. He swears the reflection is seconds behind him, hesitant in its movements. The reflection doesn’t even look like him, skin pale like he hasn’t seen the sun in years, and eyes sunken in with dark circles around them. His cheeks are slowly starting to hollow out, his other hand coming up to trace the lines.
Is that me?

Jeongguk hasn’t felt like himself in years—mostly because every time he looks in the mirror, someone else is staring back, waiting to take his place. Just as he's on the edge, Yoongi appears to grab him back, grounding him in ways he didn’t think were possible. Yoongi stitches him back together… only to be the one who tears him apart in the end.

Summary
Sometimes, Yoongi becomes frustrated when he looks back on his time with Jungkook. Everything about the younger, doe-eyed boy was so beautiful.
The way that the sunlight would frame his small scar and focused pout whenever he sat at the keyboard, absorbing everything Yoongi taught him.
The way he would brush Yoongi’s mint coloured hair out of his eyes and press their noses together. The way his long lashes would flutter in bliss whenever Yoongi’s long fingers would press against his entrance.
Jungkook’s very being was art, and Yoongi trying to grasp onto the memory of him felt like seizing a prized painting from a burning museum, praying to make it out with the entire piece.
Maybe Yoongi shouldn’t have set the museum on fire in the first place.
