He got his elbows under him. The scratchy wool of Cloud’s top rubbed against Barret’s chest, he felt the hard muscles of his arms against him, but mostly he felt Cloud’s mouth on his; desperate, merciless, all teeth—until suddenly he broke away.
“I—” Barret started.
“Shut up.” Cloud huffed a breath, hot against Barret’s face. “Don’t talk.”
Barret and Cloud share a tent on the long journey from Midgar to Nibelheim.
