Izuku animates such a spectacle in his head; Mr Todoroki being held down by his son and a thick string of pasta being pulled around his neck by Katsuki.
Izuku detests, "Shoto, you can't do that!"
"You're right, Izuku. It's too flimsy for the job." Shoto looks at Katsuki expectantly, "We can use Udon. They're thicker."
Katsuki cackles and high fives him against his screen. "Fucking love you, Shortcake!"
Izuku sighs into his hands. When he admitted to himself that it feels nice to be in on their inside jokes, he wasn't talking about the incriminating kind.
(Or: One minute, Izuku's making two new friends and becoming part of their inside jokes and unusual banter. Next, he's being invited to a dysfunctional dinner and listening to an assassination plan. Normal friend stuff).
