Summary
Ruvyzvat is a sociopath living in Soviet Russia (1985), finding no use in admiration or anything akin to that. He barely tolerated people if they had something of use for him. It’s been that way since he was far too young. Being raped again at the age of nineteen didn’t cause a victim mindset. Right or wrong was flipped around; it didn’t stop him from being just as abusive as Valeriya Novikov. She was a sociopath, but maybe too self-centered for his liking. At least she knew better than to assume there would be any sort of romantic involvement—considering he only did it out of boredom (and with some convincing).
