Summary
“Did you know that we haven’t seen each other for exactly one thousand days?” Stiles goes on speaking, taking one of his hands out from under his chin and trailing his fingers along Derek’s shoulder and down his arm. He follows his movement with his eyes, not looking at Derek’s face.
And Derek is unsure of what to say. He doesn’t know if Stiles is being serious or using hyperboles, but he thinks that one thousand days are way too long to stay away from someone you care so deeply about.
“Exactly one thousand?” Derek asks, a small amused smile on his lips as his gaze searches Stiles’s face. His sunburnt nose is even more glaringly red in the light of the day. Derek wants to kiss him so bad it almost hurts.

Stiles backpacks in Europe, Derek battles lake monsters; somehow they meet halfway.

Summary
By the time they've managed to find the book and read the right section, Derek's positive attitude has plummeted towards way below zero and Stiles's shit feeling has become more like a monumentally-huge-pile-of-shit kind of feeling.
He groans hiding his face in his hands. It's impossible. He's never gonna be able to fix this mess.
Deaton's frozen smirk staring back at him doesn't help at all to ease his anxiety. He looks even creepier like that. Stiles isn't sure how that's even possible.

Summary
The thing is, that there's just one tiny little problem. A tiny flaw in his master plan of future happiness. Tiny, really, almost irrelevant, you know?
It's just that he and Stiles aren't even dating.
And that's probably why Derek ends up pouring all the remaining wine in his glass and downing the whole thing in one go, under Scott's concerned gaze.

Summary
He kind of knew beforehand what was going to appear, he wasn’t an idiot. It was either that or his father. But when an unnaturally pale Derek, with sunken eyes and dark veins pulsing under his skin, had appeared in front of him, he couldn’t help the sudden pain he felt in his heart and the tears falling from his eyes.
Apparently the Djinn had thought it out really well and had created an ad-hoc reality just for him, in which Derek just kept on dying, no matter how Stiles tried to prevent it. How nice. He tried to tell himself it was just hallucinations, that it wasn't real. But every blow that hit Derek felt like a dagger in his heart, and by the time the real Derek turned up and killed the Djinn, Stiles was drained and his heart was so shattered that it hurt to breathe.

They have been dating for about 10 months (9 months and 25 days actually, not that Nick’s keeping tabs) and it’s definitely Nick’s longest relationship to date. He knew from the beginning that it couldn’t last, Louis was this amazing gorgeous popstar while Nick was… well, Nick was just Nick. But things seemed to be going well, so he had hoped it could go on a little bit more.
That until two weeks ago, when Nick had started noticing the signs.

It’s supposed to be impossible for an Asgardian to have a one-sided soulmark. But that doesn't change the letters he sees written on his skin.
