Rintarou works the night shift at a local convenience store. It's a tedious job, one that lends itself to repetition and boredom. That is until a handsome stranger walks in one night and tries to steal snacks right under Rintarou's nose.

“Um,” Rintarou says after pointedly clearing his throat. “Are you going to pay for that?”
The stranger stops and looks over his shoulder, face impassive aside from the imperceptive raising of a thick brow. “No?” he says like Rintarou’s strange for asking. “I’m a thief. This is a robbery.”
