Summary
The Vampire Human Accords were written into law three decades ago, and vampires have since integrated into human society with relative success. Hyunjin was there to witness it.
He was also there to witness the brutal slaughter of his coven a century before.
While blood banks and donor programs have become the norm, some of the prejudices and dangers linger. Hyunjin is keenly aware of them. Younger vampires appear to be oblivious, though, and while Hyunjin will do everything in his power to protect and adore Felix, his new fledgling, Felix’s friend—a cocky, recently-turned vampire named Jisung—is neither Hyunjin’s responsibility nor his problem.
Jisung disagrees.
