Summary
When Jean Kirstein is cast as one of the Fakes on Eldia's top reality show, he knows he has this in the bag. With a prize package of one million dollars, he'll do whatever it takes to win. He just hopes the other Fake shares that determination.
But there's a twist. This season, Jean and the other Fake must pose as a couple alongside nine real couples who are also competing for the prize money. Gi-hun swallows the want. Ignores the longing. Squeezes a little tighter on Young-il’s shoulder to check if he’s real.
“You can’t be here,” Gi-hun says, rough, hushed enough for the bystanders to not catch. They probably still do, the silence in the dormitory deafening.
“You weren’t supposed to be here,” Young-il says in return, leaning his head on the wall. He sighs and closes his eyes briefly. “You weren’t supposed to find out like this.”
