Of course, that’s exactly when Soap walks in.
Soaked from the rain, chest rising and falling fast from the run, his shirt clinging to him in all the right places. He pauses in the doorway, eyes flicking from Price to Ghost, and then narrowing with suspicion.
“Why d’you look like that?” he asks, tone accusatory.
Ghost stares back, completely mute. He cannot—cannot—get his mouth to work.
Price chuckles, turning just enough to glance over his shoulder at Soap. “His brain’s just catching up with his dick.”
With a casual nod toward the couch, he adds, “Sit down, would you?”
Soap just stares—mouth slightly open, chest still heaving, frozen in place.
Price sighs, amused, and steps closer. The shift in his tone is unmistakable—low, commanding, almost coaxing. The way you’d speak to a dog you know will obey, eventually.
“Sit.”

Summary
It's fairly new in their dynamic, but Soap had suggested 'pet space' as a way for Simon to unwind. He was very against it for a while, but decided to give it a shot, just to prove to Soap that he'd hate it. He didn't. He sunk into that headspace fast, although reluctantly. He let himself be cared for by Soap and he felt the stress melt out of his body.
He almost smacked the snot out of Soap for saying 'I told you so' at least 3 times in the hour following.

Summary
simon’s dog tags jingle against his chest with every movement, and he watches as johnny’s gaze flicks downwards, teeth digging into his bottom lip as his hands travel up along the sides of simon’s body, curving over his pecs before a hand tangles into the silver chain.
“think they call it a dog tag because of pups like you?” he teases, voice rough with arousal, and the words feel like electricity coursing under simon’s skin, burning through his veins and ripping a whine out of his throat. johnny smiles, and his grip tightens, before he pulls on it, hard, and simon jolts forward till they’re face to face, sharing breath.

Ghost hums and grabs the pack out of Soap’s hand, already rolling his mask up and taking a fag out. “Look at that, I bet you fetch better than some of the K9s.”
Soap’s smile falls. It’s no secret that he doesn’t get along with the military dogs on base. As a matter of fact, he’s had a particular distaste for canines ever since an unfortunate incident in his youth, the scar on his chin burning at the reminder. And anyway, it’s downright insulting to be compared to a bloody dog.
“Och, LT, don’t even joke.” He groans, “You know I can’t stand those mutts.”
Ghost laughs, reaching out to pat the top of Soap’s head, “You’re cuter than them when you pout like that, too."

Or: Ghost really enjoys treating Soap like a dog. Soap despises it. Until he doesn't.
