    Since the time of a young Dennis Whitaker skating has been the thing keeping Dennis alive. Arguments and emotions fixed by the sound of ice, cold on the metal of his skates. Free, that's what the feeling was.

    His parents never knew. Why did they need too? He hid it from them mainly due to the fact that in there eyes hobbies are pointless. Work work work that's all. He had one skate rink within a fourthly minute walk of the farm. He would make lies saying he felt better sleeping in the barn to keep close eyes on the animals. His parents didn't care. Why would they? So that would be it. He would fish out his utterly battered skates from behind a stack of hay in the barn, sling it over his shoulder and make the trip to the skate rink

    Or Dennis Whitaker has a secret hobby of his. He can figure skate. And he can fucking do it well. He keeps his secret for as long as possible until a certain someone catches him gliding around. Robby. Of course it is.
