The prefect did not know what it was. She could be mistaken, but her ears caught Danielle’s string of words sprinkled with slight allurance; her name rolled off of Danielle’s tongue like it was honey syrup. Dangerously sweet and rather soothing. Haerin would be a fool to fall for it.
