Summary
In a world of vampires and humans, vampire hunters are universally outlawed because, as it turns out, murder is wrong. With relations between the vampire and human kingdoms as tense as they ever have been, nobody wants to risk another war. It’s better to play nice.
Cellbit, like most vampire hunters did, retired when the war ended seventy-five years ago. He’s spent his time since then avoiding mirrors and helping raise his son. It’s a boring life, but it beats being dead.
But then Cellbit gets an offer he can’t refuse: infiltrate the Vampire Kingdom’s upcoming royal masquerade ball and assassinate the prince. If he can't kill him, then his son dies instead.
With no choice, Cellbit packs up to go complete one last mission.
Sorry, Prince Roier. No hard feelings, right?

Cellbit is a monster hunter.
That is to say: he is a conspiracy theorist trying to prove the existence of the supernatural. His current project is as such: werewolves. Werewolves are in the woods, and nobody cares except for him... and except for this one guy he met at his book club one week.
Turns out this Roier guy knows a lot about the supernatural, too. He says that he's a werewolf expert, and who is Cellbit to look a gift wolf in the mouth?
Or: Anti-Twilight werewolf romcom starring an ex-convict and a guy who definitely isn't a furry.
