“So. We don't know where Lieutenant Vicquemare went after he processed both of yours evidence last night. Did anything else strike you as odd?”
“O-oh! Right! Kim, there's a piece of evidence missing from this list–a really important one! We thought it might be the murder weapon.”
“Missing?” Kim asks, eyebrows furrowed in concern, “You mean he didn't submit it with the rest?”
Harry isn't paying attention though, the voices in his head urgently interrupting their conversation with a revelation.
“Didn't submit it… or more like, didn't get a chance to.” Harry relays the cryptic insight he just received.
“Harry… are you suggesting that Officer Vicquemare was attacked, in the middle of the precinct?” Kim can't hide his incredulity.

Jean gets attacked one night while processing an important piece of evidence. When he doesn't show the next day, Harry and Kim go looking.
