Summary
“You understand, Professor,” Harry began, after a moment, “that I don’t have my N.E.W.T.s. I never even finished seventh year. Between everything, I never had a chance the first time around, and then afterwards there didn’t seem to be much point. Hermione argued for it, of course, but I was so tired of Britain. So technically, I am completely unqualified for the position.”
“Quite a way to begin an interview, Mr. Potter,” McGonagall said, dryly.
Or, three years after the war, Harry Potter becomes Hogwarts' newest Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Summary
“I never doubted that you’d end up here,” Quinn says. “In New York. On Broadway. I always knew you’d be the one to make it out of Lima.”
“You did too,” Rachel points out.
“I wasn’t ever a given, though,” Quinn says quietly. “You were always the sure thing.”

Summary
There's going to be an LGBT Pride meetup in Sunnydale in just a few days. Willow is determined to promote it. She's spreading fliers all over the place, in high spirits that the community is finally getting some recognition, the chance to get out and show that they exist. When her attempts to put up fliers in the Magic Shop are met with vehement disapproval by Giles, tension ensues, and Willow comes to an incorrect conclusion.
It takes Tara to understand why Giles seems so against the idea of putting up flyers or drawing attention to the cause, and it's not for the reasons you might think. Because Giles is old, and he's seen and suffered a lot that he's tried never talked about, because no one had asked, because it's just easier not to think about, because sometimes Willow just doesn't think. With Tara to listen, talking finally happens, and understanding. The pain of being told that who you are and who you love are wrong can leave deep scars that never quite heal, but at least Giles can do what he can to help the children of the next generation not suffer the same.
